Renowned Punjabi folk singer Naseebo Lal has lodged a police complaint against her husband, Naveed Hussain, accusing him of physical assault at their home in Lahore. The incident reportedly occurred in Shahdara Town, where Lal was sitting in the courtyard of her residence when her husband arrived and allegedly began verbally abusing her.
According to the FIR, the situation escalated when Hussain picked up a brick and struck her in the face, causing serious injuries to her nose and the left side of her face. Lal, a celebrated figure in the Punjabi music scene, sustained significant injuries and immediately reported the incident to the authorities.

Police officials confirmed that an investigation has been launched, and efforts are underway to arrest the suspect. Authorities have assured the public that legal action will be taken as the investigation progresses, and justice will be sought for the singer.

Known for her emotive voice, she has recorded over 1,500 songs in various languages and gained prominence through performances in Coke Studio.
