Punjab Police have requested the closure of 48 educational institutions in Rawalpindi to accommodate more than 15,000 police personnel being deployed for security duties.

- 5 institutions in Gujar Khan
- 3 institutions in Kallar Syedan
- 6 institutions near Chakri Interchange
