Unable to Register for MDCAT 2026 A New Option Is Now Available

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has announced a special registration facility for certain MDCAT 2026 candidates. The decision is aimed at students from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) who could not complete their registration through the online portal.

According to a public notice issued by PM&DC on July 20, the offline application process is available only for candidates holding an AJK domicile. The facility is limited to students who faced difficulties while registering online for MDCAT 2026.

The council has instructed eligible candidates to submit their applications in hard copy. This temporary arrangement has been introduced to ensure that affected students are not left out of the admission process because of registration issues.

Applicants must send a completed application form along with all required supporting documents. They are also required to attach a bank draft worth Rs. 13,000 in favor of PM&DC Islamabad.

The application package should be submitted to the Examination Department at the PM&DC Head Office. The office is located in G-10/4, Mauve Area, Islamabad.

PM&DC has also announced a deadline for receiving applications. Eligible candidates must ensure their documents reach the office by July 23, 2026, during official working hours.

Officials have advised students to carefully review their applications before submission. Missing documents or incomplete information could delay the process or affect eligibility.

The council clarified that this special facility applies only to AJK domicile holders who were unable to use the online registration system. Other students are expected to complete the registration process through the official online portal if they have not faced similar issues.

The Medical and Dental College Admission Test is an important examination for students seeking admission to medical and dental colleges across Pakistan. Every year, thousands of applicants take the test to compete for seats in public and private institutions.

PM&DC regularly issues notices to keep candidates informed about registration procedures, examination schedules, and admission requirements. The latest announcement is intended to provide relief to students affected by technical or registration problems.

Students planning to apply under this special arrangement are encouraged to complete the process as early as possible. Early submission can help avoid delays before the deadline.

Applicants should also ensure that the bank draft is correctly prepared and that all required documents are attached. Following the official instructions will help prevent unnecessary complications during the review process.
