PM Shehbaz Sharif has begun an important three-nation tour from April 15 to April 18, 2026. The visit includes Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Türkiye, according to the Foreign Office.
The tour highlights Pakistan’s focus on strengthening international relations. It also aims to boost cooperation with key regional partners. During the visit, PM Shehbaz Sharif will hold high-level meetings with the leadership of Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Officials said these bilateral meetings will cover several important areas. These include economic cooperation, regional peace, and security matters. Both sides are expected to review ongoing partnerships and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
In Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the discussions will focus on strengthening existing ties. Trade, investment, and mutual interests will remain key topics. The leadership is also likely to exchange views on current regional developments.
After completing the bilateral visits, PM Shehbaz Sharif will travel to Türkiye. He will participate in the Fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum, an important global platform. The forum brings together world leaders, policymakers, and experts.
During the event, the prime minister will join the Leaders’ Panel. He will present Pakistan’s position on major international issues. His participation reflects Pakistan’s commitment to global dialogue and cooperation.
On the sidelines of the forum, PM Shehbaz Sharif is expected to hold several important meetings. These include a bilateral meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. He may also meet other global leaders attending the forum.
Officials said Pakistan’s presence at the forum shows its active role in diplomacy. The country continues to support peaceful solutions to global challenges. It also aims to strengthen ties with international partners.
The prime minister is accompanied by a senior delegation. This includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi are also part of the team.
