The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is currently holding discussions with Cricket Australia to finalize the schedule of Australia’s upcoming ODI tour to Pakistan. The PCB is working on confirming dates and venues for the series.
According to initial reports, Pakistan is expected to host Australia for a three-match One Day International series. The visiting team is likely to arrive in late May.
Sources suggest that the series may be played between 31 May and 5 June. However, the schedule has not been officially confirmed yet. The PCB is still coordinating with Cricket Australia on final arrangements.
One match is expected to take place in Rawalpindi. The remaining two ODIs are likely to be hosted in Lahore. The PCB is reviewing logistical and security arrangements for the venues.
Australia last toured Pakistan earlier this year. They played a three-match T20 International series during that visit. Both boards have continued strong cricketing ties since then.
The upcoming ODI series is part of the ICC Future Tours Programme. The PCB is expected to announce the final schedule once all agreements are completed.
After the Pakistan tour, Australia will travel to Bangladesh for another white-ball assignment. The first ODI in that series is scheduled for 9 June.
Meanwhile, Pakistan is also preparing for its own overseas commitments. The national team is expected to tour Bangladesh for a two-match series in May.
The PCB is also managing a busy international calendar for the Pakistan team. This includes multiple Test and white-ball series in the coming months.
According to the schedule, Pakistan will tour England later this year for a Test series. The team is also set to play in the West Indies in July and August.
Looking ahead, Sri Lanka will tour Pakistan in November. New Zealand is also scheduled to visit in March 2027 for a Test series.
