Pakistani Forces Eliminate Five Terrorists In Balochistan Raid

Security forces in Pakistan have successfully neutralized five terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in the general Mashkai area of Balochistan’s Awaran district, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army’s media wing. The operation took place during the night of December 30 and December 31, targeting reported terrorist presence in the region. The operation led to a fierce exchange of fire between Pakistani forces and militants, resulting in the elimination of five terrorists. Additionally, the insurgents’ hideout was discovered and raided, yielding a significant cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives.

The security forces are currently conducting a sanitization operation in the area to eliminate any remaining militants. The ISPR emphasized its commitment to thwarting attempts to disrupt the peace, stability, and progress of Balochistan.
