The Pakistani hockey team secured a crucial 3–3 draw against Malaysia in the ongoing Paris Olympic Qualifiers held in Oman. This result was pivotal for the Shaheens as it ensured their progression to the tournament’s semifinals.

Despite being ranked 13th in the game, Malaysia took the lead three times, but Pakistan demonstrated resilience by equalizing on each occasion. Rana Waheed, Ammad Butt, and Khan Sufyan were the goal scorers for the Men in Green. Particularly noteworthy was the second goal by the captain, who displayed a world-class finish by skillfully maneuvering the puck on the hockey stick during open play. Ammad Butt was honored with the Man of the Match award for his stellar performance.
