Expressing deep sorrow and condemnation, Pakistan stands in full solidarity with the Iranian government and its people during this tragic moment, according to the Foreign Office Spokesperson. Pakistan views terrorism as a significant menace to regional and global peace, emphasizing the need for bilateral and regional cooperation to counter this threat.

The spokesperson extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the swift recovery of those injured in the attack. Additionally, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar conveyed his profound grief over the substantial loss of lives resulting from the terrorist attacks.

The twin explosions occurred during a memorial event for Qassem Soleimani, a top Iranian commander assassinated by a US drone in 2020. The incident has prompted strong reactions from Iranian authorities, with Ayatollah Khamenei promising a severe response to the perpetrators of this tragic event.
