Pakistan Receives Important Saudi Delegation For Investment Discussions

In Islamabad, a Saudi delegation, led by executives from more than thirty influential Saudi firms, arrived to bolster economic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The purpose is to engage in extensive discussions with Pakistani officials, aiming to establish strong collaborations and enhance investments across various sectors of Pakistan’s economy. The delegation will take part in a three-day investment conference between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, commencing today in Islamabad.

Following a previous delegation visit focused on boosting bilateral relations, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud expressed optimism about the current visit’s potential benefits for both nations, especially in unexplored economic sectors.

Discussions centered on plans for a new refinery project aimed at exports and measures to enhance food security. The objective is to link Pakistani expertise with global investment, with a particular emphasis on the IT industry.
