Pakistan Launches Fateh-1 Missiles in Retaliation to “Unprovoked Indian Aggression”

In a strong response to what it described as “unprovoked Indian aggression,” Pakistan launched a series of Fateh-1 surface-to-surface missiles on Saturday, targeting key Indian military installations across the Line of Control (LoC), according to the military’s media wing.

The missile strikes were solemnly dedicated to the memory of Pakistani children who lost their lives in the recent escalation of hostilities.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the precision-guided Fateh-1 missile system, developed indigenously by Pakistan, was deployed in retaliation for the deaths of several civilians, including schoolchildren, in what officials have termed the “deliberate Indian targeting of non-combatants” in border areas.

“Pakistan has neither forgotten nor will ever forget the martyrdom of its innocent children,” the ISPR emphasized. “The Fateh-1 response symbolizes the prayers, pain, and resolve of an entire nation.”

Though the exact location of the missile launches was not disclosed, military sources confirmed that the response was “calibrated yet firm”, specifically targeting military infrastructure responsible for cross-border provocation. Footage released by the military showcased multiple launches of the Al-Fatah missile system from undisclosed locations.

The ISPR also highlighted that the operation was carried out with extreme care to avoid civilian casualties on the Indian side, contrasting it with India’s indiscriminate actions.
