Held at Changlimithang Stadium, the match saw Pakistan take the lead in the 38th minute with Khobaib Khan’s goal, equalizing the score at 1-1. Subhan Karim doubled Pakistan’s lead early in the second half with an impressive individual effort, putting them ahead 2-1.

Sharaf Khan then extended Pakistan’s lead to 3-1 in the 67th minute, but Bhutan responded with a determined comeback. Two late goals, including a stoppage-time penalty, saw Bhutan level the score, much to the home crowd’s delight.
With the draw, Pakistan stays in contention for a semifinal spot, with a crucial match against Sri Lanka on September 25. Both Pakistan and Bhutan now have 4 points in Group B, while Nepal has 3, and Sri Lanka remains at the bottom with 0 points.
