New Buses for People's Bus Service Fleet to Arrive in Karachi

The expansion of the city’s bus fleet was delayed because the buses, which were first imported by the PPP government, became trapped at the Karachi Port. The monies were released as a result of the involvement of Sindh Caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar, who cautioned the Accountant General to expedite the procedure.

It is anticipated that the extra buses will make travelling in Karachi easier. In order to address the issues with public transport in the city, CM Baqar emphasised the significance of the Circular Railway and the completion of all Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lines.
