Nawaz Sharif Speaks At A Large Minar-e-Pakistan Rally

Nawaz Sharif, the former three-time prime minister, is addressing a massive crowd at Minar-e-Pakistan upon his return to Pakistan, marking the end of his self-imposed exile in London. He arrived in Lahore after a brief stop in Islamabad, and a helicopter transported him to the venue, along with former finance minister Ishaq Dar, former law minister Azam Nazir Tarar, and other associates. Thousands of PML-N supporters have congregated in Lahore to welcome their leader, who initially landed in Islamabad before making his way to the provincial capital.

Numerous party members from various cities, including Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Jhelum, Peshawar, Quetta, Hyderabad, and Gilgit, have arrived in Lahore to celebrate this significant day. In preparation for the grand rally, over 40,000 chairs have been arranged at Iqbal Park, complete with extensive lighting, music, and large screens for Nawaz Sharif’s address.

The Lahore traffic police have implemented a traffic management plan for the PML-N’s public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan. Sixteen designated parking areas have been established for attendees, and various convoys from different cities will follow specific routes to access the venue. Additionally, a section of normal traffic between Sheranwala and Minar-e-Pakistan will be closed to accommodate the event.
