The rising fast bowler Naseem Shah, who has been on the sidelines since the 2023 Asia Cup, recently found a new home with Islamabad United. As anticipation builds for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9, Islamabad United has shared a crucial injury update on the talented young bowler.

The franchise has confirmed that Naseem Shah is actively honing his skills in the nets, with his recovery showing promising progress. This announcement comes after a challenging four-month hiatus for the 20-year-old, who endured a shoulder injury during the 2023 Asia Cup, subsequently sidelining him and ruling him out of the ODI World Cup later that year.
