Momina Iqbal Responds Strongly to Allama Nasir Madni’s Remarks

Momina Iqbal has issued a strong response after Islamic scholar Nasir Madni made remarks that she described as unfair and based on unfounded allegations.

The actress said she had been subjected to accusations that were later amplified publicly, including from religious platforms. She expressed that she believes accountability ultimately lies with Allah and that truth will be judged in the hereafter.

Momina Iqbal stated that she would not forgive those who spread or supported the allegations against her, stressing that only Allah knows the full reality behind the matter. She maintained that public character judgments without evidence are deeply harmful.

She further cautioned against making claims without proper proof, highlighting Islamic teachings that strictly prohibit false accusations and emphasize the need for strong evidence, especially in matters related to personal honour and dignity.

Referring to teachings from Surah An-Nur, she pointed out that Islamic law requires four witnesses in serious allegations, describing such standards as essential safeguards against injustice and defamation.

The actress’s response has sparked discussion on social media, with many users debating the role of public figures and religious leaders in making sensitive claims without verified evidence.
