Mohib Mirza to join Mahira Khan in ‘Razia’

Mohib Mirza will make his television debut in Express Entertainment’s Razia. The actor will co-star in the show with Mahira Khan, who will return to our screens after the 2021 drama serial Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay.

Mirza, who most recently appeared in the horror show Neeli Zinda Hai in 2021, made the announcement on social media. “An important story to tell,” wrote the Ishrat: Made in China star. Previously, the Raees actor revealed her comeback project, Razia, with a BTS photo on Instagram.

Khan previously surprised her fans by posting a photo of her new character on the photo-sharing app. “Razia. “Coming soon on Express Entertainment,” she teased. Khan was photographed with her back to the camera, wearing a colourful paranda in her hair, in an amusement park or fair.

The project’s name was revealed in the second image, which featured multi-colored bangles. The production will begin filming in June. Other details about the cast, release dates, and creative team are unknown at this time. Fans are already excited because Khan appears to be playing a feisty Punjabi woman in the drama.

Aside from that, Khan will reunite with Humayun Saeed in another film, Aaj Rung Hai. The drama, directed by Nadeem Baig and written by Zanjabeel Asim, will reunite Khan and Saeed on screen after Farhat Ishtiaq’s Bin Roye.

Khan was most recently seen in Bilal Lashari’s The Legend of Maula Jatt, alongside Fawad Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Hamza Ali Abbasi, and Humaima Malick. The cult classic went on to become the highest-grossing Pakistani film of all time. Mirza was most recently seen in the feature film Ishrat: Made in China, which was released last year.
