Massive Fire Erupts at Lahore Cloth Market Plaza

A fire broke out at a cloth warehouse located on the fourth floor of MZ Plaza in Lahore’s New Azam Cloth Market near Sheranwala Gate, prompting a large-scale emergency response.

Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene immediately after receiving reports of the blaze and launched an operation to bring the fire under control.

According to rescue officials, seven fire engines and two rescue vehicles have been deployed as part of the firefighting operation.

In addition, one ambulance, two rescue motorbikes, and 45 Rescue 1122 personnel are participating in the emergency response to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the fire or reported any casualties. Firefighting efforts were still underway at the time of reporting.
