Lahore Zoo and Safari Park to Undergo Upgrades to Meet International Standards

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has unveiled plans to upgrade Lahore Zoo and Safari Park, aiming to elevate them to international standards. During a key meeting, the focus was on transforming the facilities to match the exceptional zoological standards observed in renowned locations like Singapore.

To achieve this, the CM directed the acquisition of new animal species for both the zoo and the park. Additionally, traditional enclosures will be replaced with glass structures in most cages, offering visitors an up-close and immersive experience with the animals. The objective is to enhance the overall visitor experience by providing a safe and captivating environment.

CM Naqvi shared his vision for the project, highlighting the significance of making both facilities appealing to a wide range of visitors. The goal is to establish educational and entertaining spaces that cater to diverse interests and needs.
