Lahore Traffic Police Releases Traffic Plan for Asia Cup 2023

The Lahore City Traffic Police (CTP) has also released a traffic strategy for the Asia Cup 2023 matches in the Punjab capital city.

According to the latest information, spectators will be able to park at Government College for Boys, Liberty Parking Area, and Sunfort Hotel. Traffic on Mall Road, Jail Road, and Canal Road will continue as usual during the matches.

In addition, traffic on Main Boulevard Gulberg and Ferozpur Road will continue as usual. Interruptions may be witnessed in Kalma Chowk, MM Alam Road, and other routes leading up to and around Gaddafi Stadium, particularly during VIP movements.

The department announced that 1,000 traffic wardens will be assigned to ensure the public’s safety and convenience. The department has put twenty lifters on roadways to enforce improper parking. The department promised to only shut highways for VIP transit for a short period of time.

Authorities have been instructed to help the general population in a timely and courteous manner. They have also asked the public to help the authorities maintain calm in the city.
