According to the administration of Karachi’s biggest cattle market, Maweshi Mandi, the recent Eid-ul-Azha season was profitable, generating more over PKR 8 billion in revenue.

During this time, the crowded market saw the sale of nearly 700,000 sacrificial animals. The administrators said that the large sum was generated from the sale of livestock such as cows, goats, and sheep.
