Joint Drills ‘Inspired Union 2024’ Held In Karachi

The Pakistani and US navies are conducting bilateral drills in the port city of Karachi with the aim of enhancing security cooperation. The joint exercises, named ‘Inspired Union 2024,’ are designed to bolster relations and interoperability through the exchange of professional expertise in maritime operations.

Various units of the US Navy, including the Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and medical teams, are participating in the drills alongside their Pakistani counterparts.

The activities encompass discussions and practical exercises on shared interests, reinforcing the robust military ties between the two nations and fostering a secure maritime environment in the region.

During the exercise, the Commander of CTF-52 also held discussions with the Commander of the Pakistan Fleet and the Commander of the Coast Guard, addressing matters of mutual interest in the maritime domain.

These drills represent a significant step towards strengthening cooperation and coordination between Pakistan and the United States in matters of maritime security, reflecting the commitment of both countries to ensuring stability and safety in the maritime domain.
