Iranian President Raisi To Visit Pakistan Soon

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi plans to visit Pakistan this April, marking the first foreign head of state’s visit since the new government took office after the February 8 General Elections. The visit, scheduled for April 22, follows Iran’s recent attack on Israel. Discussions during the visit will encompass topics such as the Middle East situation and the Iran-Pakistan Gas Pipelines Project.

Over the weekend, Iran launched an assault on Israel using drones and missiles in an operation dubbed “True Promise,” citing it as retribution for Israeli actions. This incident adds to escalating tensions between the two countries, particularly heightened since Israel’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus on April 1.
