In the Super 4 game, India managed to defeat Sri Lanka by 41 runs, although Sri Lanka’s three spinners, particularly breakout star Dunith Wellalage, accounted for most of India’s top-order wickets.
Despite the spin challenge posed by the home team, India’s top-order batters have been in good form, with three of them scoring centuries in the last two matches.
Team Updates:
– India is expected to reintroduce Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Kuldeep Yadav after they were rested for the Bangladesh match.
– Sri Lanka will miss Maheesh Theekshana due to a hamstring injury, and leg-spinner Dushan Hemantha might replace the off-spinning all-rounder.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
