Hezbollah, supported by Iran, declared launching numerous rockets towards military sites along the Israeli border. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu previously accused Hezbollah of aiding Hamas after Hamas’ attacks on Israeli territory on October 7th, threatening significant repercussions.
In response, Israel targeted Hezbollah commanders, members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, in strikes across Syria, Libya, and Lebanon. Subsequently, Hezbollah conducted drone strikes along the Israeli border, specifically targeting Israeli soldiers. These attacks by Hezbollah have primarily focused on northern Israel, aiming to divert Israeli attention away from Gaza.
