Govt announces to pay salaries and pensions before Eid ul Fitr

Due to Eid-ul-Fitr, the federal government has decided to pay all serving and retired government employees their April salaries, allowances, and pensions in advance.

According to reports, the decision was made during a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, with the latter instructing the Secretary Finance to take action as soon as possible.

The Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, on the other hand, has called its monthly meeting to observe the Shawaal crescent. The meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, April 20 (29 Ramadan). On the same day, zonal committees will meet in designated zones.

The central meeting will be held at Islamabad’s Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony building. The session will be presided over by Chairman Molana Abdul Khabeer Azad.

In the meantime, the federal government will soon announce the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. According to reports, the Cabinet Division has forwarded a summary to the Prime Minister’s Office.

According to reports, there will be 5 Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. According to reports, the holidays will begin on April 20 and end on April 24.
