KARACHI – The price of gold in Pakistan surged by Rs 2,100 to reach Rs 277,300 per tola, continuing its upward trend for the second consecutive working day on Friday.

According to the local Sarafa Association and the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola has increased to Rs 277,300, while the price of 10 grams of gold has risen by Rs 1,800, reaching Rs 237,470.
Meanwhile, the price of gold in the global market also saw an increase, rising by $21 to $2,661 per ounce.
