Gold Price in Pakistan Drops Rs3,800 to Rs453,336

Gold prices in Pakistan fell again on Monday, September 14, 2026, as both domestic and international bullion markets recorded another significant decline.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs3,800 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs453,336 per tola.

The latest decline comes after gold prices recorded fluctuations in recent sessions, with the precious metal continuing to respond to movements in the international bullion market and currency-related factors.

24-Karat Gold Price Falls

The price of 24-karat gold, considered the purest commonly traded form of gold in the domestic market, dropped substantially on Monday.

After the Rs3,800 reduction, one tola of 24-karat gold is now available at Rs453,336.

The decline represents another major movement in the local gold market and comes as international gold prices also moved lower.

For buyers and investors, changes in the per-tola rate can have a direct impact on jewellery purchases, gold investments and the overall value of existing holdings.

10-Gram Gold Rates Also Decline

The decline was also recorded in gold prices measured by weight in grams.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs3,258, reaching Rs388,662.

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased by Rs2,987, bringing its new rate to Rs356,286.

The reduction in both 24-karat and 22-karat gold prices indicates that the downward trend was reflected across different purity levels in Pakistan’s bullion market.

Gold rates are closely monitored by consumers, jewellers and investors because even relatively small changes in international prices can translate into noticeable changes in domestic rates.

International Gold Price Drops

The decline in Pakistan was accompanied by a fall in international gold prices.

In the global bullion market, gold dropped by $38 per ounce, with the international price reaching $4,308 per ounce.

International gold prices are an important factor in determining domestic bullion rates. Movements in global prices can influence the rates quoted by local gold markets, alongside other market factors.

The latest fall therefore contributed to the decline recorded in Pakistan on Monday.

Silver Prices Also Fall

Silver prices in Pakistan also moved lower during the latest trading session.

The price of 24-karat silver declined by Rs122, bringing the new rate to Rs6,802.

The price of 10 grams of silver also decreased by Rs105, settling at Rs5,831.

The decline in silver prices followed the broader downward movement seen in precious metals during the session.

Silver, like gold, is widely followed by investors and consumers in Pakistan, particularly because it is used both as an investment asset and in jewellery and other products.

Precious Metals Market Remains Volatile

The latest figures highlight continued volatility in Pakistan’s precious metals market.

Gold prices have experienced significant movements in recent weeks as international bullion prices fluctuate. Local buyers and investors therefore continue to closely monitor daily changes in gold and silver rates.

For consumers planning to purchase jewellery, a decline in gold prices can reduce the cost of buying compared with periods when bullion rates are rising sharply. However, jewellery prices can also vary depending on making charges, design costs and other factors.

Investors, meanwhile, often monitor international gold prices alongside domestic rates before making decisions about buying or selling the precious metal.

Gold Rate Outlook

The latest decline has brought the domestic 24-karat gold price down to Rs453,336 per tola, while the international rate stands at $4,308 per ounce.

With international bullion prices continuing to influence the Pakistani market, further movements in global gold prices could affect local rates in the coming sessions.

For now, both gold and silver have recorded declines, giving the precious metals market a weaker start to the week.

Market participants will continue watching international bullion trends and domestic pricing developments to see whether the downward movement continues or prices recover in the next trading sessions.
