Gold prices in Pakistan remained unchanged on Tuesday, with the price of 24-karat gold holding at Rs. 461,936 per tola, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10-gram gold also remained stable at Rs. 396,035.
Gold price remains stable
The local gold market showed little movement after prices increased by Rs. 2,000 per tola on Monday.
Following Monday’s increase, the price of 24-karat gold reached Rs. 461,936 per tola and remained at the same level on Tuesday.
The stability comes as investors and consumers continue to closely monitor movements in international gold prices, currency rates and broader economic developments.
International gold price steady
In the international market, gold prices also remained largely stable at around $4,395 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
International bullion prices remain an important factor influencing gold rates in Pakistan, alongside fluctuations in the Pakistani rupee and domestic market conditions.
Silver prices decline
Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction on Tuesday.
The price of silver declined by Rs. 43 per tola, falling to Rs. 6,986 per tola.
With gold prices holding steady and silver recording a decline, precious metal markets in Pakistan remained relatively calm during Tuesday’s trading session.
