General Headquarters (GHQ) has announced 81 civilian vacancies in pay scales ranging from BPS-01 to BPS-05. The recruitment drive is open to eligible candidates with a local domicile of Rawalpindi district or Islamabad and covers a variety of security, technical, administrative, and support staff positions.
According to the recruitment advertisement published on July 27, 2026, the available positions include two Dark Room Assistant (BPS-05) posts, 17 Security Guard (BPS-05) vacancies, one Duplicating Machine Operator (BPS-04) position, one Attendant (BPS-02) post, and three Fireman (BPS-02) vacancies.
The advertisement also includes several BPS-01 positions, including one Inker, 12 Naib Qasid, 22 Mali, 10 Sanitary Worker, six Mess Waiter, five Cook, and one Chowkidar. In total, GHQ is hiring for 81 positions across different categories.
The required educational qualification varies from primary to matric, depending on the position. Applicants for technical roles must also possess the relevant skills or work experience. Candidates applying for Security Guard positions must fulfil the physical fitness and experience requirements outlined in the official advertisement.
The general age limit for applicants is between 18 and 30 years. However, candidates applying for Fireman positions may be up to 35 years of age, as specified in the recruitment notice.
Only candidates holding a local domicile of Rawalpindi district or Islamabad are eligible to apply. Applicants from other districts or provinces will not be considered under this recruitment campaign.
Interested candidates must submit their applications online through the official GHQ recruitment portal. Applicants can apply for only one position and are advised to carefully verify their CNIC, educational qualifications, experience, domicile, and contact details before submitting the form, as applications can only be edited once.
GHQ will shortlist candidates based on the information provided in the online applications. Shortlisted applicants will receive details of the screening test or interview through SMS. Candidates already serving in government departments must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) when required.
