How to Register for PM Laptop Scheme Phase IV?
Applying for PM Laptop Scheme Phase IV involves a registration process that has not yet begun. Currently, the HEC is in the process of procuring laptops as per the Prime Minister’s instructions. Once this procurement is complete, the official registration process will commence.
Although no final date for the registration process has been confirmed, it is anticipated to begin within the next month. Upon initiation, interested students nationwide can complete their registration by visiting the official Government of Pakistan website: https://pmyp.gov.pk/.
For eligibility, students registering for the 2024 laptop scheme must be enrolled in an HEC-approved public sector university or its sub-campus. A list of eligible universities is provided for reference.
Eligibility Requirements for PM Laptop Scheme Phase IV
- Applicants must be Pakistani residents.
- Applicants must possess a valid Pakistani identity card.
- Applicants must be enrolled in public sector universities or HEC-approved degree-awarding institutions.
- Applicants must be pursuing a PhD, MS, MPhil, or equivalent 18-year program in an HEC-recognized institution.
- Male and female applicants must be enrolled in four-year or five-year bachelor’s degree programs at HEC-approved institutions, whether in morning or evening sessions.
- Applicants enrolled in MBA programs are also eligible.
Who Doesn’t Qualify for PM Laptop Scheme Phase IV?
- Students who are residents of countries other than Pakistan.
- Students who lack a valid Pakistani identity card.
- Students unable to provide the necessary educational documents for verification.
- Students who have already received laptops in previous phases of the scheme.
- Students enrolled in government degree, postgraduate colleges, or affiliated colleges.
- Students who have not submitted an online application for the laptop.
- Students who have completed their degree program at the time of laptop distribution.
