Q-Autos has officially introduced Chinese automobile brand Kaiyi Auto in Pakistan by launching multiple electric vehicles during an event held in Lahore.
The company launched three electric vehicles in the Pakistani market, including the Kaiyi X3 Pro EV crossover and two variants of the Kaiyi e-Qute 04 electric hatchback. The newly introduced vehicles are aimed at expanding affordable electric transportation options in the country.
According to company officials, the Kaiyi X3 Pro EV crossover offers a claimed driving range of 401 kilometers on a single charge. The vehicle has a regular price of Rs7.49 million, while the introductory price for the first 200 customers has been reduced to Rs6.79 million.
Q-Autos also launched the Kaiyi e-Qute 04 hatchback, which has been positioned in a segment between the Suzuki Cultus and Suzuki Swift in terms of size and category.
The company stated that the e-Qute 04 includes several modern features such as a 360-degree camera system and fast-charging support. The 300-kilometer range version of the hatchback has a regular price of Rs4.49 million, while its introductory price for the first 200 buyers is Rs3.99 million.
Meanwhile, the 400-kilometer range variant has been launched at a regular price of Rs5.19 million, with an introductory offer price of Rs4.69 million. Both versions are available with a booking amount of Rs490,000.
During the launch ceremony, Q-Autos also showcased the upcoming Kaiyi X7 Hybrid SUV, which is expected to enter Pakistan’s growing hybrid crossover market in the future.
The company further announced plans to establish a local CKD assembly plant in Pakistan to support domestic production. Officials believe local manufacturing could help reduce vehicle prices and increase the availability of electric vehicles in the country.
