The influence of this big-stage play has already reached the greatest game in football, as EA Sports has included the hijab in FIFA 23.

The International Football Federation outlawed the wearing of hijab in football owing to the risk of injury, but they permitted players to cover their heads in 2014.

EA Sports made a significant step forward when they created FIFA 16, the first game in the series to incorporate women, with the opportunity to select women’s national teams.

EA Sports, a video game maker, has taken another big step forward by including the hijab, or Islamic headgear, in its recently published edition of FIFA 23.

According to John Shepherd, Executive Producer at EA Sports, “we feel we can play a really important role in the growth of that sport by introducing it to all of our fans.”

EA Sports unveiled a redesign of its legendary FIFA franchise earlier this year, which has enthralled gamers and football fans worldwide for nearly three decades.

EA SPORTS FC, the new brand concept, will serve as a foundation for producing creative and immersive football experiences across online and mobile gaming platforms.

To launch the new brand, EA SPORTS FC will be featured in over 100 matches across the world’s top football leagues, including the Premier League and La Liga.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
