The incident occurred on Peshawar Ring Road, where two unidentified motorcyclists stole his mobile phone before fleeing the scene.
Mohsin Ihsan, serving as the deputy commissioner at the Regional Tax Office (RTO) in Islamabad, filed a First Information Report (FIR) at Sarband Police Station following the incident. According to his statement, he was traveling to Hayatabad in a taxi when the two motorcyclists intercepted him and carried out the robbery.

Law enforcement authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter and are actively pursuing the suspects for apprehension.
Earlier in the same month, a resident of Sector G-10 in Islamabad thwarted a robbery attempt captured on CCTV. The courageous individual managed to detain two armed robbers outside his residence after they followed him from a bank where he had withdrawn money.
The perpetrators, on motorcycles, trailed the victim to his home and attempted to rob him in his garage. However, the vigilant citizen overpowered them, preventing the robbery.
