Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly set to begin a new chapter in his career by making his acting debut in a television series inspired by the world of football agents.
According to reports, the Portuguese superstar is preparing to enter the entertainment industry following Portugal’s recent World Cup exit. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is expected to appear in a series focused on the life of a fictional football agent.
British actor Damian Lewis is reportedly set to play the lead role in the series, while Cristiano Ronaldo will also serve as one of the project’s producers. The show is said to draw inspiration from the real-life experiences of Darren Dein, who has worked as the agent of former Arsenal and France striker Thierry Henry.
Reports also claim that Thierry Henry will make an appearance in the series, adding another football legend to the cast. The project is expected to blend fictional storytelling with elements inspired by the football industry’s behind-the-scenes world.
The reported acting role comes shortly after Portugal’s campaign ended with a defeat to Spain, who went on to lift the World Cup trophy. The result brought an end to Ronaldo’s long-standing ambition of winning football’s biggest international prize.
Despite the disappointment, Ronaldo remains one of the sport’s most celebrated players. He has represented Portugal at six consecutive FIFA World Cups and has scored in every edition he has played, a record that highlights his remarkable consistency at the highest level.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers in history, Ronaldo has enjoyed a career filled with domestic league titles, UEFA Champions League trophies, international success, and multiple individual honours. If confirmed, his move into acting would mark another milestone beyond the football pitch.
Neither Ronaldo nor the production team has officially confirmed the reports, but the project has already generated significant interest among football fans and entertainment audiences alike.
