Traditionally, the Pakistan Day military parade showcases an array of military assets including short- and long-range missiles, tanks, aircraft, drones, and other advanced military technology.

In previous editions of the parade, contingents from friendly nations such as Turkey and China have also been part of the event. Additionally, troops from countries like Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Bahrain, and Sri Lanka have made appearances.

The Pakistan Day parade commemorates the Lahore Resolution of 1940, which laid the groundwork for the establishment of the South Asian nation. It serves as a platform to exhibit Pakistan’s military prowess through demonstrations of equipment, aircraft, and performances by armed forces personnel.

March 23 holds significance as a day to celebrate Pakistan’s culture, history, and achievements. The parade is attended by government officials, foreign dignitaries, and members of the general public, and is often broadcasted on television for viewers throughout the country.
