Central Gaza Hit By Israeli Airstrikes, Numerous Palestinian Martyred

Israeli forces launched extensive attacks on central Gaza through land, sea, and air on Wednesday, resulting in a reported increase in Palestinian casualties, including 20 individuals in a single strike. Despite international calls for a ceasefire and the humanitarian crisis, Israel’s military chief, Herzi Halevi, affirmed on Tuesday that the conflict would persist for many months. Halevi emphasized the absence of shortcuts in dismantling a terrorist organization, expressing Israel’s determination to eliminate Hamas.

The Gaza health ministry released a statement confirming that an Israeli airstrike near Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, had claimed the lives of 20 Palestinians on Wednesday. As of the statement, there was no immediate response from the Israeli military.
