The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced 225 contract-based vacancies for eligible candidates in different departments. The jobs are available across various Basic Pay Scale (BPS) positions, ranging from BPS-01 to BPS-16.
The vacancies include positions in transport, fire services, medical support, technical work, physical training, driving, cooking and other areas. Candidates meeting the required education, experience and age criteria can apply online through the CDA job portal.
The highest-scale position is Transport Officer in BPS-16, with one vacancy available on merit. Candidates must have a B-Tech qualification along with five years of relevant experience. The maximum age limit is 33 years.
CDA has also announced one Bronto Sky-lift Coordinator position in BPS-14. Applicants must have a DAE in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical or Mechatronics and three years of relevant experience. The age limit is 30 years.
Two Drill Instructor and two PT Instructor positions are also available in BPS-14. Candidates should have a graduation degree in physical education along with relevant certifications and three years of experience. Preference will be given to retired Army personnel with relevant training certifications.
The authority has announced 22 Leading Fireman posts in BPS-12 and 109 Fireman posts in BPS-11. The Fireman vacancies form the largest category in the recruitment drive. Quotas have been allocated for merit, Islamabad Capital Territory and various provinces.
CDA is also hiring 55 Medical Technicians in BPS-11. Applicants need FSc Pre-Medical or FA with a second division along with a one-year dispenser or paramedical diploma from a recognized institution. Relevant experience or certification will be preferred.
Other technical vacancies include two Draftsmen and one Foreman. CDA has also announced posts for Dafadar, Caretaker, Mess Cook, Cook, Dispatch Rider, LTV Driver and Khakroob.
The LTV Driver category has 20 vacancies in BPS-04. Candidates must have a Middle qualification, an LTV driving licence and three years of relevant experience. Two Dispatch Rider positions are also available for candidates with Matric qualification and a motorcycle licence.
The authority said all appointments will initially be made on a contract basis for two years. The contracts may be extended if required, but appointment on a regular basis will not be a vested right.
Candidates already working in government organizations must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department. Only shortlisted candidates who meet the required criteria will be called for written, skill or physical tests and interviews.
Candidates must also meet the prescribed physical requirements. The minimum height is 5 feet 6 inches for males and 5 feet 4 inches for females. Vision of 6/6 is required, although glasses are permitted. The required BMI must be below 30, while male candidates must have a minimum chest measurement of 33 inches.
Applications must be submitted online through the CDA jobs portal within 20 days of the advertisement dated September 11, 2026. Applicants must upload scanned attested educational and experience documents, a recent photograph, CNIC and domicile.
The processing fee is Rs2,000 for each post. The fee is to be paid online through the PSID or QR code generated after successful submission of the application.
CDA has clarified that incomplete applications will not be considered. No TA or DA will be provided for tests or interviews. Candidates are also required to bring their original documents and attested copies when appearing for an interview.
