Awam Express Train Reinstated For Passenger Convenience

In Lahore, Pakistan Railways has opted to resume the Awam Express passenger train, previously halted due to floods in Sindh, in order to ease transportation for the public.

According to reports, railway authorities have instructed the carriage shop to produce 18 new wagons for the train, which will include economy class, lower AC, and Business class compartments.

Simultaneously, officials have approved a one-month extension for the services of the Shalimar Express train, which runs on the Karachi-Lahore route. This decision has been promptly put into effect.
