RMIT is also offering a research scholarship focused on air pollution control. The project examines nature-based methods for improving air quality in urban areas.
Researchers will study vegetation and green barriers using Computational Fluid Dynamics. The scholarship provides AUD 36,245 annually.
Applicants may have academic backgrounds in environmental engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and related fields. Environmental science, physics, mathematics, and urban planning may also be relevant.
The fourth RMIT scholarship focuses on wastewater heat recovery. Students will develop models to study heat movement through municipal sewer systems.
The research will also assess the potential recovery of thermal energy from wastewater. The scholarship provides AUD 36,245 annually, with tuition and living support.
University of Canberra Scholarship
The University of Canberra is offering an HDR Stipend Scholarship for higher degree research students.
The scholarship provides a tax-free living allowance of AUD 36,225 per year. The stipend can normally continue for up to 3.5 years.
International students may also receive a tuition fee waiver through a competitive assessment process. Academic merit and research potential are among the assessment factors.

Eligibility and Application Requirements
