A tragic incident in Karachi claimed the life of a seven-year-old boy after he accidentally fell into an uncovered manhole in the city’s Mowach Goth area.
According to police, the incident occurred in the Noor Shah locality of Mowach Goth, where the child was reportedly playing near the open manhole before losing his balance and falling inside.
The victim was identified as Jahangir. Officials said the accident took place shortly before local authorities were informed. Residents rushed to the scene and alerted the police, who immediately launched a rescue operation.
With the help of local residents, rescue teams recovered the child’s body from the manhole after a search. The body was later shifted to a nearby hospital for necessary legal and medical procedures.
