Ali Zafar To Release World Cup Anthem At 1 Pm Tomorrow

When the ICC unveiled the official anthem for the Cricket World Cup hosted by India, titled “Dil Jashn Bole,” it didn’t resonate with social media users. Disappointed by the anthem, they called upon Pakistani singer-songwriter-actor Ali Zafar to create a better one. Despite featuring Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh’s energetic performance, “Dil Jashn Bole” fell short in the eyes of netizens.

Responding to the public’s disappointment, Ali Zafar stepped up to produce an anthem that could captivate everyone. In a recent video message on social media platform X, the singer expressed his gratitude to those who had faith in him to create an exceptional cricket anthem, set to be released “tomorrow at 1 P.M.”

“To make this song a masterpiece, it’s crucial for all of you to join in. We all know that the Pakistani nation has few opportunities for celebration in life, and cricket is a sport where the success of the Pakistani team brings joy to the common people,” he said.

Now, with Zafar’s acceptance of the cricket fans’ request, he is releasing his own cricket anthem. BTS snippets from the music video set have circulated on social media, indicating that the song will be electrifying and catchy.

Ali Zafar further stoked his fans’ excitement by sharing stills from the music video on his official Instagram account and adding, “Are you ready!? If you didn’t enjoy it, I’ll refund your money. Tomorrow 1 pm.”

In addition to his cricket anthem, Zafar will also lend his vocals to the upcoming films “Huey Tum Ajnabi” and “Allahyar and the 100 Flowers of God.”
