The District and Sessions Court Islamabad has issued arrest warrants for former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
The warrants were issued in an audio leak case registered at Golra Police Station. The development was reported on September 22, 2026.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Hakim Khan Bakhar heard the case. Ali Amin Gandapur and his co-accused were absent during the hearing.
Their absence prevented the court from recording statements from prosecution witnesses. The court then proceeded with issuing arrest warrants.
The court directed that Ali Amin Gandapur be arrested in connection with the proceedings. The hearing was subsequently adjourned until October 17.
The case relates to an alleged audio leak involving the former KP chief minister. The case was registered at Golra Police Station in Islamabad.
The latest court order follows previous proceedings in the same case. Earlier hearings had also involved questions surrounding Gandapur’s attendance before the court.
