AirSial has announced new job opportunities in its Engineering and Maintenance Department for qualified aircraft engineers in Karachi. The airline is inviting applications for Aircraft Engineer positions, with the last date to apply set for October 6, 2026.
The announced positions are based at AirSial’s Karachi station and are aimed at engineering professionals with relevant qualifications and experience in aircraft maintenance.
For the Aircraft Engineer position, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Avionics, Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized university.
Candidates with at least one year of experience working in Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) or line maintenance at an approved Part-145 maintenance organisation will be preferred. Experience gained through on-the-job training or internships will not be counted toward this requirement.
Applicants should have strong knowledge of basic engineering principles and good written and communication skills. Working experience on the Airbus A320 family will be considered an advantage.
Candidates are also expected to have good IT and computer skills as part of the requirements for the position.
AirSial has also announced a separate Aircraft Engineer Avionics position under its Engineering and Maintenance Department, also based in Karachi.
Applicants for the Aircraft Engineer Avionics position must hold a PCAA-issued Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) in Category B2 without limitations. The licence must be endorsed for the A320 family aircraft fitted with V2500 and CFM56-5B engines.
An endorsement for the CFM LEAP-1A engine will be considered an additional advantage for applicants.
Candidates applying for the avionics position must have at least six years of experience working in a line maintenance environment at an approved Part-145 maintenance organisation on an Airbus fleet.
They must also have at least six months of current experience during the preceding two years. A minimum of six months of certification experience will be considered an additional advantage.
The role requires strong knowledge of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Candidates must be able to correctly read and interpret aircraft maintenance data and have a thorough understanding of PCAA regulations and their implementation.
Applicants should also have strong aircraft inspection and troubleshooting skills, along with knowledge of aircraft dispatch procedures. Good communication skills are also required.
AirSial has stated that valid certificates for mandatory training in areas including Human Factors (HF), Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) and Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) will be preferred for the avionics position.
Both positions are focused on aircraft engineering and maintenance responsibilities and require candidates to meet the relevant professional and experience criteria.
