Singer Adnan Sami has responded with a witty comment after comedian Kullu made a joke about him during a recent episode of India’s Got Latent while discussing Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming film Udta Teer.
The exchange quickly attracted attention on social media after Kullu linked the film’s Pakistani spy character to Sami, prompting laughter from the panel.
What happened on India’s Got Latent?
During the episode, host Samay Raina asked Ayushmann Khurrana about his role in Udta Teer.
Ayushmann explained that he plays a Pakistani spy who enters India and loses his memory following an accident. As a result, his character becomes convinced that he is Indian while still maintaining a sense of patriotism.
Comedian Kullu immediately responded to the description with a reference to Adnan Sami, saying, “Woh Adnan Sami hai”, meaning “That is Adnan Sami.”
The remark prompted laughter from the panel, which also included comedian Rajat Sood and mentalist Suhani Shah.
A clip of the exchange was later shared online and gained attention across social media.

Sami later reacted to a reel featuring the exchange on Instagram.
Rather than responding seriously, the singer appeared to take the joke in a lighthearted manner and posted a witty comment.
He wrote, “Pehle mujhse ‘rights’ lo aur phir film banao,” which translates to, “Take the rights from me first and then make the film.”
His response was posted in the comments section of the India’s Got Latent reel and subsequently attracted further attention online.
The singer’s humorous reply added another layer to the exchange, with social media users reacting to his response alongside the original joke.
