The ring is expected to manipulate one of the three features individually, possibly adopting the variable zoom lens seen in the Xperia 1 series. Some express skepticism about Sony seamlessly adjusting the aperture, given the Pro-I’s limitations, but the new model may offer a range between f/1.2 and f/4.0, hinting at multiple aperture steps.
