5 facts about Pakistani old Shepherd who performed Umrah by spending the whole life saving

The 82 years old Pakistani shepherd who went viral during roaming in Prophet’s Mosque in Makkah is known as Abdul Qadir Baksh.

Abdul Qadir Baksh lives in a village Goth Haji Rahim HUB, Pakistan and does not even own a phone.

Baksh spotted in a very simple appearance barefoot and frail, with a long muslim cloth draped over his turban.

The Pakistani shepherd had saved for 15 years to make the pilgrimage, for years, Bakhsh sold his goats to save up to fulfil his dream.

He said “I wandered around until I finally reached there,” adding that at the prophet’s shrine, he wept. “I said, God, you have showed me the way and brought me here.”
